Senior FPA – Insurance Company

8 Month Initial Contract

London – Hybrid remote working

Pay rate up to £800 per day via Umbrella inside IR35

About the role
What you need to know:

Production of monthly and quarterly reporting including variance of actuals to budget, forecast and prior periods
Assist with Planning/Forecasting – including the GAAP plan, SBF and ad hoc scenarios
Reporting to the Board and Committees on a quarterly and monthly basis
Providing insightful analysis to group, management and the business
Work closely with underwriters to understand business drivers
Strong business partnering skills. Promote collaboration with business functions
Provide challenge to the business where appropriate
Development and improvement of analytics and processes: Streamlining processes and controls.
To work as an integral part of the finance team and offer assistance and support to the team as and when necessary.
Key Relationships:

Finance.
Executive Committee.
Group Finance.
Department heads.
Key Performance Indicators:

The accurate and timely production of expense Management Information.
What we're looking for:

Insurance experience essential, preferably Lloyd's.
Experience of working within finance department
Experience of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Advanced Excel
Good organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work within tight deadlines
Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
Able to highlight issues and problem solve
