Our respected client based out of the plush Mann Island building in Liverpool are expanding and with that they have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team. The business are within the travel manufacturer space and are growing their depos across the country at great speed.

Our respected client based out of the plush Mann Island building in Liverpool are expanding and with that they have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team. The business are within the travel manufacturer space and are growing their depos across the country at great speed.

DUTIES:

Purchase ledger clerk able to look after the full process (1000 invoices per month)
Responsible for payment run processing.
Working with managers for sign off of payments/approvals
Processing Invoices on two systems
Supplier statement reconciliations
Month end purchase ledger accruals
Closing and pulling purchase ledger reports
Ensuring paying to terms
GRNI reconciliation
Intercompany reconciliation
Bank reconciliation
Credit card reconciliation including VAT
Responsible for petty cash
Sales ledger invoicing
Set up new suppliers and VAT checks

SKILLS:

Able to work on your own initiative
Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with managers and colleagues so that whole team is aware of current issues.
Confident in your own ability and able to follow the whole purchase ledger process from start to end.
Has a sound understanding of statutory rules on invoicing and VAT
Experience with foreign invoice processing
Can follow controls in place to ensure we do not pay twice.
