Job Description
This well-known organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Analyst. You will be required to design, develop and maintain high quality analytical reporting and financial models to support reporting and analysis of the organisations financial performance whilst generating insightful and value add analysis to support key decision-making processes

Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting your daily duties will include:

* Provide value added analysis relevant to performance and business objectives that provides key insights which support and enhance management decision making

* Contribute to continuous improvement of budgeting models and frameworks, ensuring they reflect the strategic objectives of the charity

* Contribute to continuous improvement of the forecasting process, templates and analysis to ensure forecasts are robust

* Ensure all new financial templates, models and reports produced/developed are fit for purpose and conform to best practice

* Improve reporting and analytical skills within the Finance team, by providing training in spreadsheet skills and analysis techniques

* Design and deliver improvement in reporting practices across the department by development in line with best practice policies and guidelines

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant or part-qualified individual with the necessary reporting skills gained through experience within a financial function of a complex multi-site organisation. You must have substantial experience in complex data manipulation and possess the ability to analyse numbers critically, extracting information for management information.

For this exciting role, it is essential that you have advanced spreadsheet and data manipulations skills. Excellent systems skills with strong Excel knowledge a prerequisite whilst a working knowledge of SQL and TM1 would provide a distinct advantage
