Job Description
Our major Insurance Broking Group Client is looking to recruit another talented Insurance Manager to lead their team of experienced Insurance professionals.
Your background can be in Broking or in Underwriting but importantly you will be looking to develop your leadership and management skills in this role.
Your team will consist of a range of knowledgeable people with strong Insurance backgrounds, mainly in client facing roles.

As Insurance Manager your main responsibilities will include:
Regularly review Client renewals which may be under attack or causing issues and provide assistance to help protect the business
Ensure the team are managing renewals proactively
Regularly review prospective Clients to ensure all are being contacted and the Execs have all the support necessary
Allocate new business leads to the most appropriate Account Executive
Ensure the effectiveness of the working relationships across and between the teams
Manage team capacity and resource levels
Identify areas for training and development, providing proactive support
Conduct regular one-to-ones, reviews and appraisals
Co-ordinate the delivery of department and personal KPI's
Manage the relationships with Insurers and utilise those to influence client outcomes
Adhere to all FCA regulations and requirements ensuring compliance within the teams To be successful in this Insurance Manager role you will demonstrate:
Good all round Commercial Insurance knowledge
Strong motivational and leadership abilities with a genuine desire to develop your people
Drive to succeed in a competitive Insurance market place
Track record of problem solving and ability to persuade people
Excellent communication skills at all levelsAble to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships
