Our client is a fantastic business based in Stoke on Trent. They provide specialist services and have a brilliant reputation in the area. They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their small accounts team for a period of 6 months.
 
Job Description:
 
As Purchase Ledger Assistant, you’ll working in a wider business support team of 4 and will be responsible for:

Inputting purchase orders onto the system using Sage 50
Preparing payments runs
Statement checks
Reconciling credit card
Dealing with invoice queries For the Purchase Ledger Assistant, it would be good to see candidates with:

Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience is essential
Experience using Sage
The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
The ability to work effectively in a small team Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm
Salary: £23,000 – £26,000 per annum (pro rata)
