Job Description
Project Accountant – Defence – Cheltenham – Permanent – £39,000 – £50,000 P/A

ARM are looking for a Project Accountant to join an exciting Defence Technology client in Cheltenham on a Permanent basis.

Your purpose:
This role reports to the operating unit finance manager and is required to provide expertise and experience to an existing project finance team supporting growing packages of work.

The role will have both an internal and external focus and will suit a proactive person who seeks out continuous improvement in processes and can challenge when required.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:

* Responsible for financial analysis of balance sheet & p&l across business area
* Providing assurance that internal & external policies and deadlines are being achieved
* Process, understand and share insight on large quantities of data
* Providing support to existing finance team to ensure accuracy of project finances
* Leading new bid pricing for a range of customers
* Creating and maintaining stakeholder reports

Your skills:
* 3 years + experience in a Project Accountant role
* Experience of bid pricing involvement desirable
* Ability to investigate ERP balances & provide challenge to business
* Experience with SAP desirable
* CIMA/ACCA/ICEAW qualified, or part qualified with experience
