Job Description
Payroll Specialist – Cumbernauld – up to £35k (temp to perm)

Payroll is one of the busiest areas of a business. The stakes are high as everyone would notice if they didn’t get paid, right?

You’ve got to hit the ground running in this role, so your payroll experience will allow you to fit in seamlessly.

This is a busy department where you’ll be responsible for the payroll of a high volume of employees, so your excellent organisational and communication skills will be put to good use.

HRC is working with a well-known Glasgow-based organisation to find the ideal candidate to join their friendly, tight-knit payroll team.

We are looking for someone with:

High volume, end-to-end UK payroll experience

Up-to-date knowledge of employment law, National Insurance, and taxation

Proven ability to work to tight deadlines

Strong working experience of Microsoft Excel

Excellent level of accuracy in data input

What will the role look like?

Full end-to-end payroll processing with statutory adjustments

Highlighting and implementing process improvements

Processing starters and leavers

Handling payroll queries efficiently

Month-end payroll account reconciliations
