Job Description
Rugby based – hybrid working (2 days in the office per week)

Permanent

Monday to Friday – 38.75 hours per week (between 8.15am and 5.30pm)

£36,000pa

Our client, an extremely friendly and successful distributor based in Rugby, are looking for a Management Accountant to be responsible for the company's accounts to Trial Balance – including all accruals, prepayments and manual journal postings.

The key responsibilities:

* Cost of sales accounting and analysis (materials, FX, freight in, vendor rebates)

* Other variable cost accounting and analysis, as well as Variance Analysis (month on month budget and forecasting)

* Tax compliance – maintenance of company tax records

* Cover for overhead cost accounting when required and to assist with day to day, monthly and annual tasks to improve finance functions

The ideal candidate:

* Part qualified accountant

* Great IT skills – intermediate with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook

* Minimum level 2 literacy and numeracy

* Experience with SAP would be advantageous but not essential

* Proactive, great communication skills and attention to detail
