Job Description
INSURANCE SCHEMES ACCOUNT HANDLER
BOLTON
SALARY UP TO £32,000 + CII FUNDING SUPPORT

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are very pleased to be once again representing one of Bolton's most respected Insurance Brokers. They have nearly 60yrs experience within the industry which makes them experts in their field. They now feel this is the best time to expand their Scheme's Account Handling team and feel this will help cement their place as one of the top brokers in the region.

The role of a Scheme Account Handler extends to include a strong element of underwriting risks within their delegated authority. You will deal with a wide range of risks including Property Damage, Business Interruption, Equipment Breakdown, Employers Liability, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, D&O Liability, Terrorism, Cyber & Financial Crime.

THE PACKAGE:
Salary up to £32,000
Up to 25 days holiday, Can increase this with service

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handling of renewals, mid-term amendments, claims, premium financing arrangement and queries for a bank of existing clients
Development of new business opportunities
Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards at all times.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and insurers
Ensure all business activity fully complies with FSA regulation, the Scheme Delegated Authority and company procedures
Maintain detailed computer records
Discussing and assessing client's current and future insurance needs and ensure expert advice
Keep up-to-date with changes in the both the Insurance and Childcare Industry
Keep up-to-date with competitor offerings
Preparing presentation of terms to be presented by Account Executives on larger cases
Conduct learning, training and assessment exercises in accordance with the individual T&C scheme applicable to you. Identify further areas for own development as required.
THE PERSON:

Good verbal and written communication skills
Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
Computer literate in word, excel and outlook
Strong analytical skills
Ability to understand and assess risk
Confident negotiation skills
Excellent time management
