Job Description
SF Recruitment are working with an exciting, well established retail client based in Staffordshire in the recruitment of a Head of Finance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing business and really add value to the role and therefore the wider company. The company in the last 2 years has seen incredible growth in their turnover which is forecast to continue as they expand their retail network this year and into the next.
Working closely with the Director's and Senior Management Team, duties of the role will include:
– Responsibility for day-to-day accounts preparation
– Responsibility for all financial and management reporting
– Statutory accounting
– Budgeting, forecasting
– Producing robust and timely management information
– Liaison with, and management of, relationships with external stakeholders including Bank and audit
– Evaluating suitability of current systems and processes
– Cash-flow forecasting
– Streamlining existing processes and procedures and developing reporting suites
– Managing and developing a small finance team
– Overseeing payroll function
– Ad hoc finance projects and any other finance related queries
– Lead on Stock control audit's across the business.
Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
– Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA
– Retail and or multi-site experience an advantage
– Experience working in a fast-growing SME
– Experience implementing new processes and procedures
– Strong systems skills
– Strong Interpersonal skills
