Job Description
Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Inclusion Support on a part-time fixed-term contract based in Arcola Street. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £28,885 – £30,249 pro rata.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract and for 30 hours per week.

About the Financial Inclusion Support role:

Our Financial Inclusion Support role involves providing administrative support to Financial Inclusion Specialist to help facilitate successful outcomes for the team. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, self-motivated, supportive, multi-skilled and put our customers at the heart of all we do.

This role involves providing administrative support to Financial Inclusion Specialist

To maintain a central electronic filing system, ensuring all key documents are retained and updated as necessary. To set up new information recording systems as appropriate.

What we're looking for in our Financial Inclusion Support:

You will have excellent knowledge of computer and Office systems including the use of email, spreadsheets, databases and word processing packages

You will be a quick learner and be able to meet any new administrative skill requirements within a short period of time

You will pay keen attention to detail and have the ability to record information accurately

You will be a strong communicator both verbally and in writing with staff, residents and third parties

You will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets

You will be able to work flexibly and as part of a team as well as using your own initiative

You will have a demonstrable commitment to high standards of customer care

You will understand the need for confidentiality and treat clients information securely and respectfully

Basic knowledge of welfare benefits and money advice issues

Experience of recording and managing data

Experience of using IT including database, word processing, email and internet

What you can expect to be doing as our Financial Inclusion Support:

To maintain a central electronic filing system, ensuring all key documents are retained and updated as necessary. To set up new information recording systems as appropriate

To update AdvicePro (database) to reflect contact with clients and case progression

To record statistical information based on client activity; collating information on financial gains for clients, and demographic information

To undertake general administrative duties such as copying, scanning and mail outs as required

To arrange meetings and appointments, book rooms and take minutes of meetings

Deal with correspondence arising from meetings with clients and external organisations in relation to casework

To attend drop in surgeries and update records accordingly

To attend team meetings and other internal and external events as required

To carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
