Job Description
We are recruiting for a recently qualified accountant from an audit background to join our Manchester based team. This is an ideal role for someone who is seeking a position that combines technical accounting and reporting.

What will you be doing?

The role is intended to provide support to the Group financial reporting team and working towards the goals to improve the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of month end and statutory reporting across the Group and into the Board. The role holder will be a key member of the Group Financial Control team and encompasses the following areas:

Monthly management accounting
Monthly reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations
Year end and half yearly accounts
Providing reporting and insight to the wider Finance team as requiredIs this you?

Educated to degree level
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent
Financial Services exposure is advantageous
Experience with month-end/year end processes
Strong communicator – verbal and written
