Hours: 40 hours per week

What will you be doing?

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly visible team in the larger Veolia Finance Community. The role involves both management accounting and financial accounting elements which will really allow you to develop in your career in a rounded way; the opportunity for growth is massive.

The role holder will be responsible for aspects of financial and management accounting reporting processes that are undertaken at the Finance Shared Service Centre. This includes:

Budgets/Forecasts

Monthly Management Accounts

Statutory Accounting

Facilitation of Audits

Group Reporting to Paris for Central Entities

In a cross-trained team, the role holder will be involved in the following responsibilities to varying degrees.

The responsibilities include:

being responsible for getting hands on with the local audits, SSC audits and for preparing the Workday to Stats reconciliation file

being responsible for performing intercompany reconciliations

being responsible for preparing Corporation Taxpacks

being responsible for preparing quality budgets/forecasts

preparing monthly Management Accounts

preparing Balance Sheet Reconciliations

adhering to and completing a month end checklist

posting manual journals

looking to find and implement process improvements

assisting with other ad hoc tasks in the team

The role holder will be involved in all of the above to varying degrees.

Part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant

Good Communicator

Team Player

Comfortable with large amounts of data
