Job Description
Management Accountant (Senior) | Gloucestershire (hybrid) | Fixed Term Contract 6 – 12months | up to £50,000
The Company
My client is in the support solutions industry are looking for additional support within their Management Accounts Team.
Role
Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years Post Qualification experience – Ideally with a Job Costing Background, Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, proficient in the use of MS Power point and Word.
The Tasks
* Take ownership of the job costing system, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the information that it provides.
* Support the Financial Controller in the efficient and timely delivery of Management Information to the Senior Management Team.
* Provide Monthly review and analysis of Gross Margin by revenue stream and project including commentary for any significant variances to plan.
* Partner with the business to ensure successful delivery of financial targets.
* Conduct monthly variance analysis of results and KPI’s against budget and prior year actuals.
* Produce rolling 13 week cash-flow on a weekly basis and issue to Senior Management.
* Interface with the Project Management Office and contribute to the monthly financial reports that the PMO provides to the monthly Profit Centre Review meeting.
* Attend the monthly Profit Centre Review meeting and amend the Job Costing System with any updates that come from this meeting.
* Assist with the preparation of the annual research and development tax credit claim.
* Assist with the review of expenses for PAYE Settlement Agreement and P11D purposes.
* Assist with the year-end audit process.
* Assist with the annual budgeting preparations.
* Assist the Financial Controller with implementing improvements to the Company Accounting system and the Management Information that it provides.
* Act as stand in for the Financial Controller during periods of holiday or sickness.
* Attend the Monthly Manager’s meeting on behalf of the Finance Department including preparation and delivery of the Finance slides.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Finance Department and its processes.
* Support any other Ad-Hoc requirements in the department.
