£22,000 – £23,000 Depending on Experience

My client is a successful and well-established print and packaging supplier operating from their recently expanded HQ in Mansfield. Overview:

They are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team. Working on both sales ledger and purchase ledger using Sage 200, this role provides exposure to all aspects of finance.

Key responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger

* Purchase invoice approval against PO and GRN

* Supplier account reconciliations

* Updating CRM system with purchase invoice information

* Provide cover for invoice processing and supplier payment where necessary

Sales Ledger

* Processing sales invoices onto Sage for online orders

* Process receipts from bank account and Worldpay onto Sage

* Customer account reconciliations

Credit Control

* Carry out credit checks for new account applications

* Send welcome letter to new credit account customers

* Maintain accurate credit limits on Sage

* Send customer statements and chase for any outstanding balances

Skills & Experience:

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounts environment is essential

* Knowledge of Sage 200 and basic Excel would be beneficial.
