Job Description
My client is a Global Bank.

Principal Purpose of the Job:

Supporting the execution and monitor of Project and Infrastructure Finance debt transactions, with a primary focus on UK and Ireland and a secondary focus on the wider European market.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

* Act as the first line of defence for the Bank in risk mitigation on all transactions.

* Work as part of a small team, assisting Senior Managers in the execution of new transactions for the Bank within the Project and Infrastructure Finance sector, including: –

* Preparation of proposals / pitches for arranging mandates;

* Assisting with the structuring of debt transactions;

* Undertaking financial and technical due diligence reviews;

* Interrogation of financial models;

* Assisting with credit application preparation;

* Presenting discrete parts of transactions to credit committee;

* Reviewing project documentation; and

* Preparing ad hoc presentations and marketing materials.

* To be actively engaged in developing and enhancing the Bank’s contacts in the market across sponsors, banks and advisors.

* Foster and maintain a positive working relationship with Credit Risk Department.

* Liaise with other areas of the Bank in London and the international Branch network.

* To be fully conversant with the Banks AML/CDD/KYC requirements when on-boarding clients in all jurisdictions; and

* Other tasks as directed by Head of Project & Infrastructure Finance and Senior Managers.

Skills Required:

* A genuine and strong interest in the Project Finance sector;

* An initial understanding of the Project and Infrastructure market, including debt structures and transaction documentation;

* Attention to detail and forensic analytical skills;

* An initial understanding of the credit analysis basics and good presentation skills;

* Ability to interrogate financial models; and

* Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.
