Job Description
Finance Operations & Controls Manager
£50,000 to £58,000 + 10% Bonus + Enhanced Pension + Competitive Benefits
Swindon / Hybrid / Remote / Flexible
I am currently working in partnership with a dynamic fast paced growing company with huge ambition! You will be supporting the finance function in completion of the VAT returns, maintaining a robust control framework, and understanding the exposure to risks across Group Finance and wider organisation.
About the job:
* Lead on Finance Operations operational excellence, with an ongoing focus on continuous improvement, including elements of transformation across Finance.
* Review current processes and operations to identify key risks and work closely with risk teams
* Effectively manage risks, mitigating them to within agreed risk appetite.
* Identify key processes/controls across the business and work closely with finance and wider organisation to remedy and improve process and control deficiencies.
* Maintenance and ownership of the Finance Function Manual & Finance Operating Procedures to ensure these are fit for purpose, complete and up to date.
* Create and maintain approval and signing limits across the business.
* Review and improve accounting software user controls
* Maintain control environment relationship with external stakeholders
About you:
* Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant
* Experience of working in a financial accounting role within a large organisation.
* Strong finance process, controls and systems knowledge
