Job Description
A 6 months+ opportunity for a Finance Analyst has arisen with the local authorities in Watford.
This role will be supporting the Senior Lead on Finance Controls and Process Improvement and the Finance Controls and Process Improvement Officer on tasks whilst the Senior Lead is spending 80% of the time on the finance systems implementation project. It is a development opportunity for someone who has a little bit of finance experience and is enthusiastic about process improvement and wants more experience in this area. The role may also require the person to assist in system implementation activities such as testing, development of new processes and writing procedural documents.
Skills and Experience:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW).
Experience in supporting projects or transformation.
Experience of financial analysis and forecasting, identifying trends, drawing meaningful insights and delivering complex reporting outputs.
Advanced level of Excel and/or Power BI knowledge with the ability to create reports, financial models,dashboards.Hours of work are 9am till 5pm, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
