Job Description
Finance Assistant opportunity within an organisation that lives by values of Compassion, Respect and Ambition.

The role of Finance Assistant will undertake specific operational finance tasks to support to ensure the efficient and effective use of the against budget.

You will be organised and have excellent time management and organisational skills. In additional to strong working knowledge of all areas of Microsoft Office.

In addition to be able to advise key stakeholders on process so that all financial transactions are compliant, accurate and timely.

Key Accountabilities:

Managing the departmental mail box to ensure all queries are dealt with quickly and sensitively
On a regular and timely basis undertake the following tasks:
Checking coding, placing orders, invoicing, preparation of weekly BACS payment runs (with the
Assistant Finance Manager)
Receiving and recording payments
Scanning to the system of all relevant financial documentation, i.e. quotes, invoices
To work with the cluster Finance Manager to create and upload payment files for the weekly payment runs,
