This fantastic opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Assistant Financial Accountant to join an established team, on a permanent basis, with exciting plans for the next 12 months.
Summary
You will support the financial accountant with the preparation of the monthly accounts, preparation of journals, account reconciliations, overhead analysis as well as other ad-hoc duties. You will be a pro-active and flexible individual who can add some real value to the finance team, working closely with and supporting other key functions, providing accurate, timely and insightful information to various budget holders.
The Right Person
PQ or Qualified AAT / Accountancy Degree / Studying ACCA or CIMA / Qualified by Experience
Experience of Industry accounts, preferably management accounts within a manufacturing environment
Advanced MS Excel knowledge (V/H Look Ups, Pivot Tables, Macros)
Experience with using Power BI would be beneficial
A team ethic, self-drive, determination and a strong sense of logic
Strong communication skills across all areas and levels of the business

Salary: £25,000 – £35,000
Hours: Full-Time 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday (40hrs PW)
