Job Description
Commercial Finance Manager – Hull –Highly competitive salary, bonus, hybrid working & benefits package 

We are very excited to be exclusively partnering our PE backed client based in Hull with their search for an Commercial Finance Manager. The Commercial Finance Manager is a newly created role and will see you reporting to the Head of F,P & A, providing commercially focused financial information around production and rolling forecasts. This is a highly reputable, market leader who is seeing unprecedented demand and hence has made major investment to increase market share.

Working closely with the commercial team within this leading manufacturing business your responsibilities will include:

Own the annual budget and forecasting cycle for all commercial areas, including sales, margin, marketing and sales related overheads
Manage weekly and monthly analytical reporting of sales and margin performance
Own the month end process for all commercial areas providing insight and commentary for the monthly reporting packs
Develop the commercial reporting and processes to be more ‘real time’ business insight
Analyse and report on the impact of key marketing campaigns in generating sales activity in a changing market
Attend the cross functional sales and operational planning meetings
Partner the Directors on all commercial matters
Lead the commercial finance function including 2 direct reports
Provide financial modelling for various ad-hoc projects and business strategyTo be the successful applicant for the Commercial Finance Manager role you will need to be qualified either CIMA, ACCA or ACA and ideally with experience of working in a manufacturing environment. As this is a business partnering role your communication skills and systems knowledge will be excellent. You will have sound commercial awareness and have exceptional partnering skills to add value and make impact.
