Credit Controller / Permanent /Norwich – salary £25-30K per annum

Technique Recruitment Solutions is a specialist engineering recruitment agency based in Norfolk; we are proud to be working on behalf of our prestigious engineering design and manufacturing client based in Norwich.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an expereinced Credit Controller to join their finance department.   

Credit Controller will be responsible for ensuring prompt payment against invoices issued by the company for goods supplied under the agreed payment terms.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

·        Raising invoices and other documents as required

·        Raise Bank Guarantees, Performance and Warranty Bonds when instructed by the Project Managers against certain projects at the time of invoicing.  Arrange signatory approval and submit to customer for processing and payment.

·        Finalising payments and following up where necessary

·        Reconciling accounts

·        Intercompany Reconciliations

·        Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment

·        Supporting with queries both internally and externally

·        Liaising with Project Managers and Sales Department to ensure that payments are received on time.

·        Running credit checks

·        Reporting

o   Daily Banking and preparation of Daily Sales Cash in Report

o   Preparation of Weekly Cash Flow Report

o   Monthly Group Reporting

o   Account receivable analysis report as per invoice

The successful candidate will have a previous experience in a Credit control role, either already qualified – AAT or equivalent, or studying/planning to study towards an accounting qualification would be advantageous. Experience working with SAP as well as Microsoft Office.

Credit controller must be able to work to a high-quality standard, have good communication skills at all levels of the business. Good written and verbal communication and well-developed interpersonal skills.

This is permanent full-time role based in city centre of Norwich, offering free parking and hours as follow: Mon – Thurs 8:00 – 16:45, with early finish on Friday 8:00-12:30, 38 hrs per week
