Elevation Accountancy & Finance have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious & enthusiastic Credit Controller, to join a key client, based in Leeds, as they look to add to their team. This role is initially on a temporary basis with the view to going permanent for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic role in a team who adopt a fast paced, fun and inclusive environment where you can really get stuck into the duties and have full autonomy of your role. There are plenty of opportunities for progression and development within this team and you will be given all the support and tools you need to be successful.

Our client are flexible on offering both Part-Time and Full-Time work.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

– Manage the debtors within their business on a daily basis to gain payment within the given
terms
– Own the disputed debtors processes reporting disputes to the relevant persons within the
business
– Monitor and manage unallocated cash
– Allocate cash received/Company Banking and bank reconcillation
– Providing timely reports to the senior credit controller for review and discussion on
– Overdue debtors for cash calls
– Disputed debtors
– Cash collection
– Raise Sales invoices & Credit Notes

Key Skills & Experience:

– Tact and diplomacy
– Cash Collection Experience
– Payment reconcillation to Ledger good accrucy
– Ability to stand by a decision
– Able to take a broad / compromising view
– Good telephone manner
– Good organisational skills
– Reconcillations Ledger and Bank
– Motivator
– Outside of the box thinking
– Problem solver
– Good Excel skills
