Job Description
Assistant Accountant, all round bookkeeping role, temp to perm, Hertford, £30,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within this well established local business for an Assistant Accountant, looking for an active studier or QBE level individual.
As the Assistant Accountant, your duties will be varied and include:
* Maintain sales and purchase ledger
* Bank reconciliations
* Cash Reconciliation
* Preparing suppliers payments
* Preparing weekly reports, administration and other duties as required
* Recording and reconciling companies credit card/petty cash.
* Ad hoc analytical reports and projects
My client is looking for:
* At least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Accountant
* Previous accounts experience in logistics industry would be an advantage
* Part Qualified level or actively studying towards accountancy exams preferential
Ideally we are looking for someone who is currently operating at this level having worked in a similar role, however, we are open to individuals who may be looking for their next career opportunity and ready for this as the next step
