Job Description
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently supporting a growing business located on the outskirts of Sheffield, in Dinnington to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit team, initially on a temporary basis to assist the team whilst someone is on leave, to start at the end of October!

The role will be dealing with suppliers placing orders, raising purchase order requisitions and processing invoices predominantly. Reporting to the Financial controller, the role will include the following duties, but may grow over time:

* Placing orders with suppliers and chasing
* Checking and getting authorisation on invoices before entering
* Ensuring all direct purchases allocated to a sale
* Resolving invoice queries
* Credit card journals
* Ensuring adherence with all finance processes and standard operating procedures
* Ensuring accuracy and completeness of system standing data
* Supporting other areas of finance and in ad hoc requests as required

To be considered for this role you will have the following experience and skills:

* Strong purchase ledger experience
* High level of attention to detail
* Be a team player with strong communication skills
* A valid DBS check would be advantageous
