Job Description
RG Consultancy are working with a well-established, SME engineering company based in Burnley, Lancashire. This is a newly created position to work directly with the financial controller and lead the accounting team to ensure smooth running of the regional back-office support. The main part of this role is to drive the business forward and maintain excellent communications with finance and the management.

Duties include:

* Preparation of the monthly management accounts

* Financial reporting

* Balance sheet reconciliation

* P&L reporting

* Accruals and prepayments

* Costings (margins, cost centre reports etc)

* Account reconciliation

* Compliance with US/UK

* Internal and external audits

* Assist with indirect tax returns

* Performs analysis for corporate tax calculations

Software:

* SAP software

* MS Excel and Pivot tables and V-Lookups
