Finance Operations Manager (FTC) Job in Birmingham, West Midlands (County)
Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Birmingham who are recruiting for a Finance Operations Manager until the end of April 2023. The role will be on a hybrid basis with occasional travel to other offices in the UK. To be successful, you will have experience working in a similar position.
Typical duties include:
* Overseeing the completion of monthly and annual reconciliations
* Managing a team to ensure invoices are uploaded promptly and payments are therefore made on time
* Leading accounts audit with external auditors
* Ensuring the firm adheres to compliance and meets obligations under the SRA Rules
* Monitoring the team’s workload to ensure high levels of customer service
* Supporting month-end processes and investigating issues as required
* Monitoring client and office bank accounts to ensure funds are at a sufficient level
* Ensuring any client requests or queries are dealt with in a timely manner
You will have:
* At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
* Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
* Ability to make decisions and work independently
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Experience managing a team
* A logical and systematic approach
