Overview
Highly successful, international organisation currently seek to recruit experienced Accounts Assistant to work at superb new offices based at Heathrow.
About the role
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Accounts Assistant will undertake responsibility for the efficient processing & payment of supplier invoices and expenses. In addition the jobholder will manage the Credit Control and Accounts Receivable functions whilst maintaining excellent customer relations. Key duties include:
* Coding and posting supplier invoices to the Accounting system
* Completion of monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Resolution of supplier queries
* Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders
* Processing & payment of supplier invoices
* Creating sales invoices and sending to customers
* Credit control debt collection working to aged debtors report
* Allocation of monies received to the sales ledger
* Maintaining customer accounts and performing reconciliations
* Assisting the Finance Manager with month end routines including accruals & prepayments, journals and reconciliations
About you
* Applicants will have experience of both Accounts Payable and Receivable and have the ability to build excellent relationships with both customers and suppliers
* In addition you should have a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping possibly gained through AAT studies
* You will also possess strong IT skills and a good understanding of MS Excel
