Job Description
Are you looking for an experienced accounts assistant role?

Would you like to work for a small company where you are not just a number?

Our client is currently looking to recruit an accounts assistant to support the senior accounts administrator within this small and friendly business. They are a well established and successful business based in Cookridge.

You will be responsible for the following duties:

Staff Expenses

Calculate by matching receipts with forms.
Add receipts to Purchase ledger Day Book (excel)
Post receipts on SAGE

Credit Card Statements

Cross check and chase copies if necessary

Purchase ledger invoices

Log purchase ledger invoices on Purchase ledger day book
Post invoices onto SAGE
Scan invoices
Aged creditors analysis and supplier statements.

Petty cash

Weekly reconciliation
Post transactions on SAGE

Payments received

Cash day book update of BACS and cheque transactions
Post transactions on SAGE

Payments out

Daily payments out day book update
Post transactions on SAGEBank reconciliation

Stationery order

Answering the phone

Hours – 9 – 5

Benefits – Pension and healthcare cashplan, holiday entitlement (20 days rising to 25), free parking
