Job Description
Accounts Assistant, Glasgow, £20,000- £25,000 per annum
Are you an experienced bookkeeper or accounts assistant ? If you are, we have an amazing opportunity for you to join a successful construction company with an unrivalled industry pedigree
You will join a friendly team as a full-time bookkeeper / accounts assistant. In your new accounts assistant role you will be responsible for managing a variety of company's accounts, a strong knowledge of posting invoices bookkeeping duties, responding to queries in a timely manner and good knowledge of purchase ledger , order processing, you must also be proficient in the use of Sage, Sage v27 is used.
The ideal accounts assistant will be a highly experienced with excellent knowledge and experience of managing a variety of accounts. A well organised individual who can prioritise workload and produce highly accurate work.
A Minimum Of 3 Years Current Commercial Experience With The Following Skills:-
General ledger management
Payment runs
Vat returns
Supplier statement reconciliations
Good Purchase Ledger and sales ledger invoicing
Responsible for all banking and bank reconciliations
High volumes of queries
Knowledge of Sage is essential or other accounting packages such as Xero etc
Adhoc duties as required
