Our client, specialist Financial Services organisation are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to fulfil a pivotal post within their Compliance Team. Reporting to the Head of Compliance you will be responsible for ensuring the Bank's adherence to regulatory and legislative requirements through compliance monitoring
Key Responsibilities
* Providing regulatory advice and guidance to Senior Management and other colleagues.
* Taking responsibility for Second Line of Defence (2LOD) to provide support to Senior Management and Operations in making their First Line of Defence (1LOD) decisions.
* To be responsible for scheduling and maintaining a risk-based compliance monitoring schedule for all relevant FCA & PRA regulated business activities, ensuring there is an effective audit trail.
* Undertaking deep dive assessments on key business areas.
Candidate Requirements
* Compliance experience gained in a financial institution or similar environment
* Understanding of risk methodologies and risk related control frameworks.
* Compliance reporting and corporate governance knowledge, including development and reviewing policy and regulatory change
* Ability to influence strongly at all levels
