Job Description
Due to acquisition and growth, our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their existing team.
With offices providing services throughout Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire, they offer a bespoke approach to advising their clients, ensuring the clients personal and business growth is their priority.
The services provided cover Accountancy, Audit, Tax and Payroll. With specialist knowledge and extensive experience with Charity & Not For Profit, Property and UK Subsidiaries.
Day to day activities of the role include:
Preparation of accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and charitable/not for profit entities.
Preparation of company corporation tax returns, including supporting analysis.
Adapt to changing priorities to enable all deadlines to be met
Communicate professionally with clients on accounts and tax matters
Keep managers and partners regularly informed of progress of assignments
Follow the firm’s policies and procedures to achieve a high standard of work and a professional service to clients
You will ideally be
Nearly or Qualified ACA / ACCA / AAT with at least 4 years’ experience in a general practice office.
Have experience of Xero, Sage & Quickbooks & IRIS would be advantageous
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be self-motivated and be able to prioritise and manage workloads
