SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN WORCESTER, WORCESTERSHIRE- JOB REF: JO34370

Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Worcester. This company serves a wide range of clients from a variety of sectors in the local and surrounding areas. Due to a period of continued expansion and rapid growth, this company is looking to add to their fantastic team.

The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who has completed or is near completion of their AAT and is looking to pursue either ACCA or ACA. A minimum of 2 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Ideally, you will have good previous experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
·Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
·General Bookkeeping duties for clients.
·Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns.
·Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns.
·Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
Candidates Attributes:
·Minimum of 2 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
·Either AAT qualified or late stage AAT and progressing with ACCA or ACA qualification.
·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
·Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages.
