Job Description
EK Financial Recruitment are currently working in Partnership with a leading organisation within the Humber region. Our client is seeking an ambitious Purchase Ledger to join them on a permanent basis.
Our client is currently growing rapidly, both organically and through merges and acquisitions, therefore need to bolster the finance team.
As the Purchase Ledger, you will be a key part of the finance team and report directly to the Finance Manager. You will be involved in day-to-day duties for the business and must be ready for a challenge.
Situated on the outskirts of the city centre.
The Role of the Purchase Ledger:
* Process invoices from emails into automated workflow system, check all details are accurate
* Process high volume of purchase invoices to match to Purchase orders
* Investigate booking in queries and resolve
* Investigate price and other queries both internally and externally to resolution
* Check and reconcile supplier statements to ensure all invoices are received and processed
* Code and analyse overhead invoices, monitor approval process and liaise with budget holders to ensure timely approval
* Monitor ledger and ensure tidy, complete and up to date
* Prepare / review BACS payments
* Petty cash issue and reconcile
As the Accounts Assistant you will ideally:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent organisation and communications skills
* Pro-active approach to work
* AAT level 4 or working towards it
Slary
* £20,000 – £23,000
Working Hours
* Monday – Friday – 40 Hours per week
