Protection Consultant

Location : Nationwide

Salary £30-45,000 + OTE (£45-60,000)

My client who are based throughout the UK are looking for a Protection Consultant to join their team. We are looking for candidate who have got experience in selling Protection Products and have got experience working within Financial Services.

Daily Duties

To acquire new clients through other opportunities such as client referrals, developing Introducer relationships, and other business development activity to be undertaken at their own initiative

To retain and develop existing SME client accounts through the delivery of high standards of consultancy, excellent customer service, and appropriate customer propositions and initiatives for a limited period following acquisition, after which to assist in the transfer of these clients to the appropriate team, in line with the Service Level Matrix.

To be fully conversant with and able to provide compliant protection advice to customers

Successful conversion of leads provided by the Company to deliver personal New Business income.

Generation of New Business income through client referrals, Introducer Relationships, and other business development initiatives

Successful management of own protection client portfolio, in line with the Service Level Matrix.

Delivery of additional revenue growth through client referrals to other Health sales teams.

To operate in accordance with the companys Sales Quality standards at all times and ensure that high quality outcomes are delivered for customers.

Work closely with the Head of Internal Markets to develop its customer proposition for protection customers.

Experience

Experience within the Financial Services market is essential, with Protection experience also essential

Experience in successfully converting potential customer enquiries essential

Experience in relationship building with Insurers/Providers, Clients and Account Managers

Experienced in using Microsoft Office Programs

Minimum of Cert CII or willingness to study towards qualification
