Job Description
Are you a Power BI Developer looking for your next contract?
There is an exciting new opportunity for a Power BI Data Developer to join the Data & Analytics team with an award-winning organisation.
This is a wide-ranging role as you will be responsible for providing data for diverse areas such as trend analysis, based on historical claims and underwriting data.
You must be a proactive self-motivated, logical, and organised team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage a high personal workload under pressure of deadlines whilst continually strive for improvements in quality, efficiency, and presentation.
Key requirements
* Proven experience working on end-to-end data projects
* Expert knowledge of Power BI and MS SQL
* Experience interpreting and manipulating data and large volume data sets
* Accessing SQL data and extracting data and building ETL pipeline using SSIS
* Pulling data from SQL sources and other data platforms into Power BI
* Build and maintain effective Power BI datasets using best practices
* Development of an effective Data Warehouse solution within SQL.
* Maintain the integrity of the MI Process with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current, complete, and consistent
This role has a flexible hybrid working approach, 3 days onsite.
