Job Description
Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Management Accountant for a dynamic division of a leading, reputable, and long-established organisation based in Greater Manchester.

This excellent opportunity has arisen due to organic growth and this pivotal role within the team will be responsible for management of the month financial reporting and close processes, with full end-to-end ownership.

The successful candidate will gain excellent exposure to a variety of different business areas and the opportunity to gain an understanding of the business with regular exposure to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

Full management of financial reporting in line with Group and local reporting deadlines
Full ownership of the statutory reporting processes, including full year reporting for board level and liaising with external auditors
Responsibility for regulatory reporting including periodic Financial Conducts Authority returns as required
Full production of monthly and periodic management reporting, consisting of full P&L, balance sheet, cash and working capital, including variance analysis and commentary as required
Responsible for ownership and development of the forecasting process for balance sheet, reporting periodically in line with pre agreed timetable
Support Head of Finance, Risk & Governance where requiredThe person

The successful applicant will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent, with a background within a regulated environment, ideally financial services.

You will have previous experience in end-to-end management reporting for an organisation, with full ownership of P&L and balance sheet. The successful individual will be able to work autonomously and show initiative when problem solving. Strong stakeholder management and a keen eye for detail are essential for this role.
