Job Description
I am looking for an experienced and qualified (or part qualified) interim with a strong Finance Business Partner background and ideally, prior experience in Corporate Services.
My client is looking for an experienced interim with great communication skills who can undertake budget monitoring, meeting senior level cost centre managers who are the Directors of Services, supporting them in cost control and updating the budget monitoring spreadsheet explaining any variances.
A big part of this role will be producing management reports for Directors and Heads of service, providing timely and accurate financial information and support to them during month end, year-end, and the annual budgeting process.
Planning and monitoring budgets, analysing variances to budget/forecast, challenging when required and preparing commentaries on key variances will be daily duties you will be able to demonstrate lots of prior experience of.
Previous experience of providing training to financial colleagues (Manual payments, means tests, journals) and non-financial colleagues (budget, overspend and accruals) would also be very helpful indeed.
Hybrid working arrangements mean you would go into the office twice a week as a minimum, and work the rest of the time from home.
