Job Description
We are supporting a private equity backed financial services business on a newly created role, this position will provide additional resource to the finance team as the business continues to grow through acquisition.

The successful candidate will work closely with the recently appointed FP&A Manager to define business processes whilst aiding in the integration of acquired businesses as well as providing accurate financial records.

We expect this role will 3 days office based, 2 days working from home however our client would be open to a conversation on different flexible working patterns. There would however always be an element of office working.

We are open to seeing applicants from a variety of backgrounds, although we expect the appointee will likely be a qualified accountant or a soon to be qualified accountant.

Main duties of the role:

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information
Preparation of year-end audit files and liaison with external Accountants.
Ensure effective operation of financial controls with documented policies processes and procedures
Deliver controlled month-end close process within responsibility to agreed month end timetable
Produce monthly reporting packs to the business with key commentary and insight
Prepare balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations to agreed timetable
Preparation of technical accounting for acquisitions and other areas
Assist the development of the Group reporting pack
Financial Integration of acquired businessesSalary: £40,000 – £52,000
