Job Description
GALENT are recruiting for a permanent Finance Manager vacancy based in Wandsworth, London suitable for an experienced qualified accountant from any commercial industry.
This will suit someone who seeks progression, your benefits include; private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus your birthday and parking. The role reports into a very impressive and experienced Finance Director who is passionate about developing future accountancy leaders.
You will be assisting the Finance Director to build partnerships with external stake holders, senior management and the wider Finance team to manage and drive performance through affective financial planning.
* Consolidation and analysis of the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts
* Management reporting and analysis of the business while contributing to the reporting pack
* Processes improvement, implementing appropriate financial standards and best practice
* Challenging the business on how they operate and delivering solutions
* Producing business development revenue and profit margin analysis
* Supporting month-end analysis and insight, linking financial reports to business strategies
* Undertaking project-based work for specific strategies and business initiatives
The ideal Finance Manager will possess the following attributes and skills:
* Strong excel skills
* A qualified ACCA accountant with minimum 5 years post qualification experience
* Previous experience managing a team
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Extensive working knowledge of a major ERP system
