Management Accountant – Loans Market
This job would suit an ACCA/CIMA part qualified accountant to be responsible for the accounting and reporting for the Broking businesses, a core product line for the Group, as well as supporting the team on Group management and financial reporting.
The company are a hugely exciting business who has enjoyed rapid growth internationally and are now looking to improve their planning and management to enable further growth.
The successful individual will be working towards their ACCA/CIMA qualification. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Good IT skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (to include Word, Excel and Outlook) are essential for this role. Knowledge of NetSuite or equivalent ERP/accounting system is desired.
Job responsibilities:
Accounting for Broking and Group entities including month end close and reconciliation processes.
Working with the accounts assistant to ensure broker payments are made in a timely manner.
Provide accurate and sound management reporting/cost analysis to assist with key decision making.
Assist with reconciling intercompany balances and calculating monthly recharges.
Assist with the production of monthly management information packs and reports for business heads and directors.
Assist with biannual FCA reporting.
Assist with the annual statutory audit and corporation tax returns.
Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process.
Review current processes and practices, analysing efficiencies, and always looking for improvements and opportunities.
Other ad hoc duties.
