Job Description
Our financial services client are looking to recruit a Fund Accountant to join their team.

Hours: Full time

Location: Peterborough-Hybrid/Remote will be considered

Salary: To be discussed

Responsibilities of a Fund Accountant:

·Fully comply with legal requirements, industry regulations, organisational policies and professional codes.

·Meet control standards and understand regulatory requirements.

·Production of Fund performance and data sets for annual reviews, key documents and board reports.

·Production, payment and filing of Corporation Tax and VAT returns to HMRC.

·Preparation of financial statements from Trial balance.

·Production of report and account proofs, circulation to all parties and resolution of queries, to production of final accounts and filing with the FCA

.Fund Income – Identify a Funds reportable income and provide information for the Static Data team

·Monthly and quarterly factsheet reporting for clients.

Soft Skills

·Numerate with strong analytical skills

·Ability to effectively manage own time and prioritise conflicting workloads to meet deadlines.

·Good communicator, both verbal and written, with the confidence to liaise with a variety of stakeholders including Investment Managers, auditors and other team members.

·Ability to work under pressure and adhere to multiple deadlines.

Technical Skills and Qualifications Required

·General understanding of investments gained within the Financial Service industry.

·Good working knowledge of accountancy function, gained through relevant work experience, at least 3 years

·Accountancy qualification such as AAT

·Intermediate/Advanced level user of Office applications including Word/Excel
