Job Description
Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting in behalf of one of Northern Ireland`s leading financial advice, wealth management and capital markets firms – located in Belfast City Centre.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administration and client relationship support to the Wealth Management & Financial Advisory Team
Process client instructions in an accurate and timely manner, and in accordance with company policy
Liaise with Advisers and management to ensure effective and compliant delivery of allocated duties
Establish and maintain client records within the company systems
Liaise with the Client Services and Paraplanning Team as and when necessary
Liaise with back-office departments in relation to cash/stock movements, client reporting, account queries and any other client queries
Work closely with the wider team to ensure timely and accurate implementation of agreed actions arising from client meetings and to service existing clients
Support the ongoing client relationship in conjunction with the Adviser and administration staff
General administrative duties within the Wealth Management and Financial Advisory businesses.
Working with the Firm`s Compliance Officer and Compliance consultants to ensure the Firm`s activities are compliant.
Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.
Adherence to the company compliance processes and procedures.

Requirements

Applicants must come from a financial services / wealth management background – worked for an IFA
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of financial planning products, services and issues, in particular in the areas of investment, pensions and protection
Relevant experience in the use of financial services back-office systems and relevant knowledge of the UK regulatory framework
A strong client focus to ensure effective service deliver
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
A high level of initiative and enthusiasm
Ability to quickly build effective relationships at all levels of the business, including work colleagues, external clients, product providers and other such professional connections
Display a positive approach to change, remain calm and work well under pressure
Effective time and caseload management capabilities to meet strict deadlines.
Salary will be £25k to start
