The Role
Robert Walters have been requisitioned to fill a Finance Operations Director with an international business based in Greater Manchester. Specific aspects of the role includes:
Team management of a large business as usual and project team consisting of circa 150 individuals across various disciplines
Lead on all aspects of the transformation programme that's currently in place across the finance operations division
Take ownership of the current transactions framework and deliver improvements that can be rolled out across the division
Delivery of improved financial controls and processes across all facets of the finance operations division
Take ownership of the audit processes and deliver improved operational procedures across the finance division
Deliver high level analysis and financial information to the executive stakeholders both domestically and internationally
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver improved SLA's and working practices
Take a lead on all business and product changes across the operations finance division
Delivery of the risk framework on behalf of the finance operations division
The Candidate
Candidates wishing to apply for this role will be a senior manager / director currently working within a large organisation. The candidate must have high level and established staff management skills as they'll be responsible for managing and developing a large team consisting of individuals at varying levels. The candidate will have come from a high volume transaction based business where transformation and change is at the heart of everything that it does. The applicant will be well versed in dealing with an array of external stakeholders (auditors and consultants etc) and implementing improved controls, processes and risk frameworks across the division. Strong business partnering skills are critical as the individual will need to liaise across the group and have the ability to influence at an executive level.
