Finance Manager
Salary: £45k (dependent on experience)
Flexible & Remote Working
Hybrid working – a blend of working from our WeWork London office (one day per week) and remotely, with flexible work patterns (minimum of 30 hours per week)
MRG is a globally renowned recruitment company, who are a specialist management recruitment business working in the property and real estate market. We have offices in central London and Asia, plus several remote staff across the UK and internationally in Australia and South Africa.
Over the last few years, we have grown significantly, and further expansion is planned through 2023 and beyond. At MRG we pride ourselves on being excellent at what we do, and we live by that standard internally in our support functions. Our finance, marketing and data support teams are first class.
Our Current finance manager plans to retire in early 2023 so as part of our succession planning, we are looking for a new finance manager.
As the finance manager for MRG, you will support our finance director across all areas of the business. And will be partnering with the business to deliver accurate budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
What are we looking for?
Payroll experience is essential
A recruitment background would be beneficial
Self-motivation, personal drive, and strong work ethic
Credit control experience
Strong verbal and written communication with high attention to detail
Experience working with QuickBooks or other accounting software programmes
Confident financial analytical skills and experience of key accounting principles
Strong commercial and business acumen
Purchase ledger experience
A positive, enthusiastic, and professional work approach that represents the MRG values
What will the role involve?
Management of payroll
Working closely with the financial director to oversee the process of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasts
Assisting and advising on risk management including making recommendations based on financial analysis
Working with the Finance Director to Identify, propose and implement efficiency measures, and innovate ways of working that improve the financial performance and efficiency while maintaining quality
