Job Description
We are seeking a commercially minded individual for a Finance Business Partner role with a well-established law firm, our client has several offices as well as plans for future acquisitions.

As a Finance Business Partner your focus will be on driving efficiency through detailed financial analysis and building relationships with key business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong excel skills, experience working in a law firm would not be a prerequisite.

There is a great flexible working policy on offer, with one day per fortnight required in the Leeds office and the freedom to work from home beyond this.

Main duties of the role:

Work in partnership with operational teams to understand business drivers and contribute to operational strategy, including the development of organic and acquisition growth plans
Provide insight and context to each practice areas performance, achieved by working closely with the business
Provide input to month end processes including financial reporting and control
Define, implement, and maintain KPI reporting, in conjunction with the BI Team
Carry out regular FP&A / forecasting exercises and challenge outputs
Preparation of annual budget following a structured approach and timetable including presentation of this budget to stakeholders
Provide technical and other support for mergers and acquisitions and integration activities and other projects as needed.Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

There is a great flexible working policy on offer, with one day per week required in the Leeds office.
