Job Description
RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with a successful, growing manufacturer based in the Sale area who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team.
This company have seen strong growth over recent years and are projecting this to continue going forward.
Reporting into and working closely with the Finance Director and as part of a team of 4 you will be responsible for covering various aspects of the accounts function. This role is a great opportunity for someone who likes to get involved with a range of tasks and will gain exposure to processes from end-to-end.
Duties include (but not limited to):
* Sales Invoicing – processing of sales invoices and credit memos on the accounting system
* Accounts Receivable – posting and allocation of export receipts, admin of invoice discounting sales ledgers
* Accounts Payable – processing of purchase invoices, scanning into the accounting system
* Reviewing cost impacts and updating company price lists accordingly
* Maintain files and documents accurately
* Provide cover for other accounting functions as necessary
The ideal person will have previous experience in an accounting role and worked in a general ledger position.
The working hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm and the role comes with 26 days holiday plus bank, company pension & life insurance. They are located close to public transport links and also have free parking on site
