Job Description
We have a super opportunity here for experienced commercial insurance professionals to join a market leading broker, as an Account Executive. They will consider experienced Execs, as well as Sales focused Handlers who would like to make the step up. There is a commercial book to inherit, standing at circa £200k income, and made up of circa 50 clients. As such you will be tasked with managing this, whilst also identify new business opportunities to add to your book.

They are now keen to add an ambitious Commercial Account Executive to their Commercial team, based out of the Leicester office.
They are a major player in the UK broking market but have big plans to continue their impressive growth, under the leadership of a very passionate and knowledgeable Ops Director, so this is an excellent time to be joining this part of the business.
The team specialises in providing bespoke insurance solutions to a wide range of commercial clients and generates a great deal of referral business because of its professional approach.
They are looking for a driven, ambitious commercial insurance professional to join them. This is an ideal role for either an experienced AE to join a successful team, inheriting a book of business to give you a foundation, or a Commercial Account Handler who wishes to move into an Exec role.
As an Account Executive you will make a measurable contribution to the profitability and overall growth of the company, through effective sales pipeline management, prospecting activity, face to face visits and networking.
The key to success is people. This broker work hard to get to know their customers, whether that’s new or existing clients. You will build relationships and understand their approach to insurance and risk management, tailoring and administering insurance solutions for the protection of their finances and liabilities.
To be considered, you will need at least 3 years commercial insurance broking experience.
You will be highly professional with a confident demeanour, as well as being extremely driven and highly ambitious.
You will be rewarded with a starting basic salary of £35-60k plus bonuses and car allowance (circa £5k). They also offer an extensive benefits package too!
Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with hybrid working.
