About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Client Payroll Administrator – This role will report to the Technical Payroll Manager, providing assistance and support to the Client Payroll Team in running and administering payroll for clients subscribed to Crunch payroll services.

The Client Payroll team works closely with a range of clients clients. The role will work effectively across all areas of the business in order to maintain a top-level of service delivery – so experience in stakeholder management and the ability to build strong and effective relationships quickly will be key.

Role responsibilities:

Process end to end monthly payroll for payroll clients and their employees, providing excellent service within deadlines and adhering to Government regulations.
Update and maintain payroll records in both the Moneysoft Payroll Manager (or equivalent) system and the back end of the system.
Set up clients for pension Auto Enrolment on the Nest system, and all tasks relating to this.
Assist in answering queries relating to client's payroll via telephone, email and chat in a timely manner and within the service level agreements.
General Payroll administration tasks, including but not limited to processing starters, leavers and producing P45 tax forms.
Calculate holiday pay, sick pay and statutory payments for our clients and their employees.
Ensure all Final FPS/EPS submissions are completed and CIS returns are filed on time.
Proactively manage tasks, client queries and team phone calls; whilst supporting the team during holiday periods – particularly during busy periods at month end.
Maintain a sound understanding of the payroll system, updating this knowledge as new features become available and engaging in system testing for new features as required.
Assist with implementation of continuous improvement of payroll processes and services.
Keep up to date with Continuous Professional Development (CPD), including changes to payroll legislation or updates, completing any required training in order to upskill and develop knowledge and skills.
Provide accurate technical advice to clients persuasively, accurately and confidently.
Deliver and achieve internal service level targets, whilst working closely with other departments (notably the Sales and Client Services Teams) to ensure that high levels of client service are maintained.
