Job Description
Opportunity for an AAT studier to develop your accounting or investment career by joining an International firm of Chartered Accountants whose clients are typically Ultra High Net Wealth (UHNW) individuals or families, each of whom receive a precisely tailored service from the firm.

Assistant Investment Accountant- About the Role

* Bookkeeping for client accounts, managing the data capture process for investment manager and bank statements, through a variety of methods from manual posting to automated data interfaces.

* Responsibility for performing the first reconciliation of bank records. Working closely with the investment accountants, to sign off on client records on a daily or monthly basis.

* Assisting in the preparation of wealth reports, performance reports, expenditure analysis and management accounts, depending upon the client.

* General administration on behalf of clients, including cash flow analysis and raising payments.

The successful Assistant Investment Accountant will have:

* Minimum 1 years previous bookkeeping gained in Practice or Investment environment

* A strong academic background

* Previous experience working with investments

* Ability to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills

* Great organisational skills and be able to manage different priorities

* The desire to always produce work of the highest quality on a timely basis

* Very strong IT skills

* The initiative to work independently or as part of a team

* You may have begun your AAT training or be keen to do so soon

* Experience with general ledger or investment software

* Detailed knowledge of more technical financial instruments, such as private equity or derivatives etc.

* Client service experience, especially with private clients
